What is the DVA?

The DVA was formed in May 2000 by a group of concerned individuals experiencing similar problems in the field of non-linear editing [NLE] on PC based systems. Members make use of a wide range of camera and video equipment.
The aim of the DVA is to act as a support group to the members and to stay on top of local and world trends in the digital field.

Membership is open to all involved in the industry, from home video users to professional production houses.

DISCLAIMER: “Although the Digital Video Association of South Africa has granted a Merit of Accreditation on work submitted by the members, we encourage clients to view footage of recent projects and to ask their videographer of choice to provide contactable references from past clients on quality and professionalism of work. The Digital Video Association of South Africa cannot be held responsible in anyway, if an Accredited or Ordinary Member of the Association fails to comply with the promises contained in any quotation made between him/herself and the client.”
