DVA Meeting 28 October 2010

Our meetings last night was hosted by Orms Northern Suburbs. Japie introduced the brand new Orms store to our members and gave us a overview of the equipment available. Fritz, also from Orms, was at hand to help with technical questions. Next up was Raymond Whittaker from Cameratek introduced his company. Cameratek has the contract for after sales service for Canon. Cameras can now be repaired and serviced in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

Our guest speaker for the evening was Herman van Deventer. Herman is a cameraman/editor and an expert on the Canon range of cameras. Herman was peppered with questions and members were impressed with the Canon XF305.

Food was in abundance as usual...
